External FBE Coating On Bend
External FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) bend coating is a protective epoxy layer applied to pipeline bends to maintain corrosion resistance and mechanical protection after bending. The coating is electrostatically applied to a heated bend surface, where it melts, flows, and cures into a uniform, tightly bonded film. It provides excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and durability, ensuring the bend has the same level of protection as the straight pipe sections during handling, installation, and service life.
